I have completed  two years B.Ed. degree from Teachers' Training College, Silchar, which is a recognised institution  under Assam University and a premier professional training institute in Assam. The course is divided into four semesters. The fourth semester is wholly practical which involves lot of works to gain practical work experience in school teaching and functioning. Some major works in the 4th semester are -

After completing all these and submission, final teaching and viva will be taken.

Bachelor of Education programme, which is popularly known as B.Ed. is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary level to senior secondary level (classes XI-XII). For admission to B.Ed. course, a candidate must be a graduate with at least 50% or higher qualifications. Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination/common entrance test conducted by the university for all the B.Ed. colleges.
